IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT EXPRESS SERVICES: We are sorry but lost, stolen or damaged passport and first time passport applications cannot use our 24/48hr service.

1. We need your previous ten year passport. If you don’t have this any more you must apply for an adult first time passport.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR APPLICATION:
- You cannot use an old 1 year passport
- If your passport is damaged (except for normal wear and tear) – e.g. the plastic covering is peeling back from the photograph page, you will have to make an application for an adult first time passport.
2. If your name has changed since your last passport you will need to provide proof. E.g. if you have got married since your last passport application you will need to supply a marriage certificate.
If you have changed your name then we will require you to supply a change of name deed.
IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING THE LANGUAGE USED FOR DOCUMENTS:
All documents supplied to us must be the originals (no photocopies) and be in English.
Documents that are not in English need to be translated by an official, Government approved translation school.
3. For our express service (24 or 48 hour) you must provide us with a letter of authority to allow us to collect the document on your behalf (Passport renewals only).
4. Get 2 identical passport photographs (these need to be signed before being sent along with your application)
5. Get a passport application form from your nearest post office and fill it out using BLACK INK only
6. Only fill out the following sections:
- Adult renewal
- Personal Details
- Existing passport number
- If you were born after 31st December 1982 complete your Parent/Guardian details
- The signature of applicant must remain inside the white box
Note: Section 10 must be completed ONLY if you cannot be identified from your new passport photograph compared to your previous 10 year passport photograph.
If this is the case, this section is to be completed by the counter-signatory in their own handwriting.
7. One of the passport photographs must be signed by your counter-signatory with the following: ‘I certify that this a true likeness of (insert your name), signed (their name)’.

9. Send us the completed form and the old passport (if relevant).
Note: For our 24 and 48 our service you need to collect 2 Royal Mail special delivery envelopes. Address the first envelope to yourself where you want the new passport to be delivered.
Address the second envelope to passport and visa service.
